Today Andre from TFL interviewed a Toyota Tacoma owner who had a really bad experience with Toyota and their warranty service. The horrible way Toyota treated him is just another reason why I have vowed to never buy another new vehicle. Warranties and insurance are just promises that can easily be broken that you are paying good money for. I will buy used and inspect the vehicle thoroughly knowing full well if something goes wrong that it’s on me to deal with. No headaches with denied claims anymore. It’s a shame though because many people rely on those warranties and get screwed over.

Yeah I saw that. TFL has dabbled in these stories in the past but I wonder with all of the GM transmission issues why they haven't talked about those nearly as much. They seem to be straddling the fence with GM/Ford/Ram. They've had some golden opportunities with viewers stranded in Colorado to run a story on it.
The big issue with businesses like TFL is they overcommit to resources/payroll etc. and they don't want to bite the hands that feed due to their commitments. Also like many Youtubers, they are living in a fantasy land where you drive new trucks every 6-12 months, never really put high mileage or years on them (because it doesn't make for good videos). So they will by nature almost always be looking at these trucks through rose colored glasses.
