Today I discovered another youtuber who’s doing the Lord’s work on exposing planned obsolescence. His channel is Hayden Schreier. Louis Rossmann is another guy doing what he can to expose this crap and similar tactics. We really need to raise awareness of how cancerous this corporate culture has become. It’s the furthest thing from actual capitalism lately. It’s just corruption. The big corporations are effectively buying useful idiots to be “independent” reviewers and promoters for their products. All the while they are making the products less durable, less repairable, fighting aftermarket suppliers of better parts and software hacks to make them repairable, and using lawyers to attack negative reviews. It makes my blood boil! If companies are doing this stuff with cars and appliances, you know they are doing it with healthcare and medical related products too.

I think we all need to share the facts of stuff like this when we discover it. It’s crazy how much of it goes on and how hard big corporations will fight to suppress people who are exposing it.

I'll check out Hayden, thanks for the recommend.

It does feel like doom and gloom, or like there's no hope for the future sometimes. Nearly everything is being manipulated, all in the name of greed.

The saddest part of all of this is that it's just humans behind the scenes doing the terrible things. If we had enough honest people left in the country, this would not be going on in every industry.

If you ever watch Will Prowse and his reviews on solar products, he does it right. If every youtuber or influencer had a shred of his integrity, the internet would be a better place for sure.
