My 2021 Suburban with the infamous L87 ground to a halt just after passing the recall test 6,000 miles ago. 86,000 on odometer, thought I had “a good one”, don’t think there is such a thing. Chaps my butt too as I just payed out of pocket for an oil change 1,000 miles ago (I’ve kept it on a 5k engine oil service interval the whole time of ownership) with the Supercar oil. Wasn’t enough to mask that crank problem evidently. Payed to tow it into Flagstaff and then drove the Jeep on the trailer behind it back home to Phoenix. Came back the next day with my 1975 C20 with a tired 350 and pulled the Suburban home on the trailer. It wasn’t fast, but it didn’t leave me on the side of the road! Hope GM takes care of us!

Yeah that's rough, I don't think many of these 6.2L L87 will be safe for some time. Maybe GM is going to right the ship with the new engines for 2027 but....I'm losing faith in their quality.
